We now manage to eat something from the garden every day. We're a bit relieved that some of the abundant seasonal crops are coming to an end (Eggplant, okra, beans) and now we can justify the expense of broccoli and cauliflower from the shops as a treat.

I've learnt to harvest salad from the garden and much prefer the texture and flavour of the variety of leaves available instead of just lettuce. These leaves will be a combination of Lebanese ground cress, Sorrel, sweet Endive, nasturtiums, mint, chickweed, rocket, wild rocket, chives and dandelion. An amazing assortment of flavours and nutrients as well as soul Nourishment walking around the garden to harvest a basket full. Remember to throw in a few flowers as well for colour and gladness!
