You&#039;re welcome, Fran. I think yacon was originally a rain forest plant or perhaps an edge plant, so it makes sense to me that it would need moist, protected, fertile soil to really perform well. It does seem to cope with neglect, which is part of its appeal to me, but I&#039;m making an effort to take better care of it ;).
