In reply to <a href="https://arealgreenlife.com/regenerative-farming-gardening/#comments/256">James Matthew</a>.

You are right, James. As a consumer, choosing regeneratively grown food isn't always possible, but when we can make that choice it does make an enormous difference. And as food growers/producers/distributors, our choice to stick to our ethics of choosing the most regenerative option and tirelessly educating customers and potential customers about it is so important and powerful. Food is a great leverage point for change. Thanks for commenting :)

That must be extremely frustrating. I don't know where you are, but is there a Landcare group or a Land For Wildlife group or anything else like that near you who could help with advice and support for you, and perhaps some education for your local council?! I wish you well with your efforts, Terry.

Unfortunately, there are many out there who don't see or understand the need for diversity. Our family has a 2Ha property that we planned to rehabilitate to its natural habitat. The local council and a number of neighbours didn't like this idea and forced us to remove a number of trees that were blocking views and to mow all the native grasses that were growing ( along with the Kikuyu which we were slowly reducing). It now resembles a park - little biodiversity and home to very few animals.
