thanks for your comment, Evelyn, and I completely agree with you. Charles Eisenstein writes in The Ascent of Humanity about how language (especially English) and measurement influenced, well, Everything. There’s no way that i know of to figure out which thread to tug on — they’re all so interwoven that nothing means nothing, everything is connected, and there is no beginning or end to anything. I’m fascinated by Bechamp’s theory too; it seems much more logical to me than the alternative we’ve been living with. I love a quote I saw somewhere that I think was attributed to him, words to the effect of: “we don’t catch diseases; we grow them.”

I’m rambling a bit here, but thanks for the reminder about Bechamp — I’m going to remember to keep his theory in mind next time my kids and i are talking about germs 🙂

I appreciate very much your effort behind it and enjoyed following your thread. What came up for me, is, that there is even a deeper level of assumptions which is based in our western culture and language, on which “our” science is based. How does someone from an eastern culture and language look at science? A world which consists not of separated objects but where everything is connected. It seems to me that Bechamps theory is closer to such a view. It is the view my heart is enamoured to.

I’d definitely trust (to a larger digree) science that wasn’t corrupted, but I don’t have a lot of faith in science today .
