Complexity of intent can lead to procrastination and inaction while the perfect solution is sought. I know this well as its how I behave sometimes ! It is much more productive to take small steps toward your goal and make small adjustments as you learn by your actions what is effective. 
Metaphors abound but I like the idea of sailing a boat against the wind or tide by tacking back and forth and always with your destination ahead of you. To reach your destination you become sensitive to the shifting wind and make small adjustments. You are sailing because you enjoy it and you give it time. Einstein famously did his &#039;thought experiments&#039; in a small sailboat that gave us the theory of quantum physics that changed how we understand our universe.
If &#039;getting there&#039; was your only objective you could always rent a speedboat but you&#039;d have to put up with the noise and the polluting exhaust.]]></description>
